Therapy is a dedicated safe place to be you.
How therapy can help
Therapy builds a safe space to put aside the stress and distractions of our daily lives and devote time to exploring what we truly want and need.
In this space, the support and attentiveness of a professional can lead to greater openness, better communication and improved self-care.
My philosophy and style
I’m here to support you in reconnecting with yourself, deepening your relationships, and becoming more present in your everyday life.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity, empathy, and openness. I aim to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely—without fear of judgment.
My practice is rooted in psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral (CBT), mindfulness-based, and supportive therapy approaches, tailored to meet your unique needs.
My specialties and experience
My specialty is helping clients navigate the complex emotional experiences that are part of becoming and being a parent, specifically issues related to fertility, pregnancy, postpartum mental health and parenting.
In addition to perinatal and parenting support, I have experience working with clients navigating a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, life transitions, chronic illness, disability and traumatic brain injury.
Who I work with
I enjoy working with all types of people. My practice is affirming and inclusive to the BIPOC, Latinx, and L.G.B.T.Q.I.A.+ communities. I work with adults in New York State, with most clients hailing from the Hudson Valley and New York City.
Location
I offer sessions in my Beacon, NY office and virtually via HIPAA compliant video-chat to clients living anywhere in New York State.
