Receive nourishing support while navigating fertility, pregnancy, or the postpartum period.
We’ll get through this together
My specialty is helping clients navigate the complex emotional experiences that are part of becoming and being a parent. This focus is rooted in a deep understanding of how difficult each step of the journey can be, from fertility to birth or adoption to raising a child.
While struggles related to pregnancy and parenting are common, there are often few spaces for open, honest, and compassionate conversations about these experiences.
In my practice, I’m committed to creating a supportive environment where those important conversations can happen.
The challenges we may work through
Although they are seldom talked about in public, difficulties related to fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting can lead to emotional distress and a variety of feelings such as frustration, loneliness, anger, anxiety, overwhelm, and despair.
Here are some common themes that clients find helpful to explore in therapy:
Postpartum depression, anxiety, stress, and overwhelm
The "baby blues"
Infertility
Fertility treatment (medication, IUI, IVF)
Pregnancy loss including miscarriage, abortion, reduction, and stillbirth
Traumatic birth experiences
LGBTQIA+ family planning
Fertility preservation
Medicalized pregnancies
Identity and role transitions
Partner conflict
Motherhood, fatherhood, and single parenting
